I grew up with gardens all around and canning to preserve the things that grew in those gardens. I am very excited to have moved to Clearwater where I have a yard to again grow things. Florida gardening is a completely different animal than what I grew up with and am excited to start playing. That being said, I have also been doing jam/jelly and other goodie making for the last year and a half and selling them under the cottage food law. I typically offer unique flavors and prefer to use local items when available.
